Helter Shelter

Helter Shelter is the debut album of the Norwegian-German jazz quartet Doomsday Preppers. The ten original compositions with titles like «15 Ways to Make Fire Without Matches» and «Blablablarmageddon» might easily be understood as depressive doomsday thoughts. The music, however, is more playful and energetic, with references to free jazz, contemporary Nordic jazz, and 20th century classical music.

With this album, Doomsday Preppers will show that even on Jugdement Day, there is room for jazz.
